Post-it Question

Assignment:Identify one of your biggest challenges at the moment and turn it into a question. Write it on a post-it and put it up on your bathroom mirror or the back of your front door. After 48-hours, journal what answers came up for you and be sure to evaluate them. Bonus: tweet or blog a photo of your post-it.

My sentence for today is:

Today is a day to appreciate and to give.

I left a sign on the women’s bathroom mirror at the Marriot today that said, “You Belong”. It was my gift to whomever needed to see that message today.  Afterwards, I went to Helios for lunch, which was a gift to myself. I paid total attention as I ate my sandwich purposefully being present for every bite.

15 Minutes to Live – Trust 30 Challenge One.

Having only 15 minutes to live is a frightening prospect. In a line at the bank, 15 minutes seems like an eternity; when watching your favorite TV show it seems like 5 minutes has past; if you know you are dieing if probably seems like seconds.

I don’t know what I’d really do if I had only 15 minutes to live. And I’ve also been reading lots and lots of YA adventure where teenagers are running from some sort of supernatural danger. So my mind immediately went to writing a story in which someone can save the poor person that had only 15 minutes to live.

I wrote as quickly as I could and it’s really not that good – not post worthy at least.  However, now that I have written something, I have the tiny semblance of an idea for a story or novel. Which I have been lacking for a very long time. And I am now overjoyed that I have.

Hopefully with some of the next prompts , I will be able to share what I come up with.
